Board Success is More Than Just Four Meetings a Year

The scope and demands of the Modern Board of Directors has evolved tremendously in the last five years. Boards have to cover a range of topics and relationships far beyond their previous responsibilities. They now engage more deeply within the organization, and outside the organization. And, they must rapidly organize and collaborate to address a growing number of dynamic business and societal interests.

Boards need to think beyond the board book, and beyond the four meetings a year, to the ecosystem of management and structure that allows them to function with organization, dynamism, and good effect across the constant and evolving governance role they play.
